We are currently in a prayerful and intentional season of discerning the right guides and mentors for our Fall 2026 launch. Our search includes individuals from a variety of backgrounds — experienced leaders, homeschool parents, creatives and those with a heart for walking alongside children in a Christ-centered, life-giving way.
Each person is thoughtfully chosen not only for their experience, but for their alignment with our mission, biblical values, gentle approach to childhood, and heart to support families in their role as the primary nurturers of their children.

Faith-Based Early Childhood Guide (Ages 3.5–5) – The Lambs
Part-Time | 2 Days/Week | 8:30 AM–1:00 PM
Light of The World – Wilton, CT
Light of the World is a Christ-centered learning collective in Wilton, CT, launching Fall 2026. We are a parent-led community rooted in faith, connection, and a desire to nurture children and families in a more intentional way.
We are seeking a gentle, faith-filled guide who loves Jesus and naturally cultivates an atmosphere of peace, joy, and wonder for young children.
The Role
You will walk alongside a mixed-age group of children (ages 3.5–5) within a play-based, nature-rich, faith-rooted environment. This is not a traditional classroom. Your role is to cultivate rhythm, beauty, and a sense of wonder — supporting each child’s development while modeling Christlike presence, patience, and care.
Who You Are
• You love Jesus and feel called to work with young children
• You have experience with ages 3–5 (teaching, homeschooling, nannying, ministry, or similar)
• You bring a calm, patient, and nurturing presence
• You are aligned with a gentle, child-honoring approach to early childhood
• You are familiar with or drawn to Charlotte Mason, Waldorf, Montessori, or nature-based approaches
• You are comfortable maintaining a technology-free environment
Faith-Based Elementary Guide (Ages 5.5–9) – The Lighthouses
Part-Time | 2 Days/Week | 8:30 AM–1:00 PM
Light of The World Collective – Wilton, CT
The Role
You will walk alongside a small group of children in the early elementary years, guiding them through a thoughtful blend of rich literature, hands-on exploration, nature, and faith-rooted formation.
This is not a traditional classroom. You will create a calm, engaging environment where children grow in curiosity, confidence, and character — while being gently supported in foundational reading, writing, and math.
What You’ll Do
• Guide children through foundational reading, writing, and math in small, supportive groups
• Lead rich experiences including nature study, storytelling, hands-on projects, and exploration
• Weave Scripture and a biblical worldview naturally throughout the day
• Support character formation, including integrity, diligence, kindness, and responsibility
• Read aloud daily and guide thoughtful conversation and reflection
• Communicate with parents in a warm and relational way
• Cultivate a calm, grounded, and engaging environment
Who You Are
• You love Jesus and feel called to work with children
• You have experience with early elementary ages (teaching, tutoring, homeschooling, or similar)
• You bring a steady, thoughtful, and engaging presence
• You are aligned with a gentle, child-honoring approach to growth and development
• You are familiar with or drawn to classical, Charlotte Mason, or literature-rich approaches
• You enjoy reading aloud and engaging children in meaningful conversation
• You are comfortable guiding mixed-age groups with flexibility and care
